The Little League Official Shoulder Patch is the only recognized identification which sets a Little Leaguer apart from all other children who play baseball and softball. The patch symbolizes unity behind the Little League mission of promoting citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being for the millions of Little Leaguers throughout the World. Use of the Official Patch is mandatory for all divisions of Little League for both regular season and tournament play.

The Official Shoulder Patch as a required part of the Little League uniform came about after many leagues reported abuse of the name and Federal registration trademark. The Patch affixed to the uniform prevents confusion in public identification, especially in news photos of accidents, etc.. It is important in the latter vein as insurance protection. Patches are worn 3”,below the left shoulder seam on raglan sleeves, 1” below the seam on set-in sleeves, and over the left breast on sleeveless jerseys.

The Umpire patch is worn 4” below the left shoulder seam on set-in sleeves. The jacket patch is worn over the left breast 6” below the shoulder seam.

Little League Baseball, Incorporated is the exclusive owner of Little League trademarks and the only authorized party to manufacture, merchandise, distribute, and sell Little League Keystone patches. Any reproduction, redistribution, reselling, repurpose, or creation of imitation/counterfeit Little League Keystone patches are strictly prohibited. Little League Baseball, Incorporated will conduct and pursue investigative measures to eliminate any illegal patch activity noted above.
